Here are the 2023 Steam Awards winners

The winners of the public-voted 2023 Steam Awards have been revealed. This year's Steam Awards recognise a total of eight categories, such as Game of the Year, Labor of Love, Better With Friends, Outstanding Visual Style, and others. While some of the winners were expected, like Baldur's Gate 3 for GOTY, others were a bit more surprising, with Starfield winning most innovative gameplay and Red Dead Redemption 2 getting the Labour of Love award despite a complete lack of updates.

According to Steam's community, 2023's Game of the Year was, as expected, Baldur's Gate 3, which also won the Outstanding Story-Rich Game award. Labyrinthine received the VR Game of the Year award, while Red Dead Redemption 2 got the Labour of Love award. Hogwarts Legacy was considered the Best Game on Steam Deck, Lethal Company was crowned the best game to play with friends, and Atomic Heart received the Outstanding Visual Style award.

Starfield was awarded the “Most Innovative Gameplay” award. Sifu was also among the winners, getting the Best Game You Suck At award, and The Last of Us Part I, with the Best Soundtrack award. Lastly, Dave The Diver got the Sit Back and Relax award. The full list of nominees and winners can be found below:

KitGuru Games: Omni-movement culminates 30 years of FPS innovation
