Nvidia GeForce Now released for all Pico MR and VR headsets

Pico is bringing the power of cloud gaming to its VR headsets with the integration of Nvidia GeForce Now. This exciting partnership opens up a world of AAA gaming experiences for Pico users, offering seamless access to a vast library of titles without needing a powerful PC or console.

Announced at CES 2025, this collaboration allows Pico headset owners to stream games directly from Nvidia's GeForce RTX servers, delivering high-fidelity visuals and smooth gameplay on the go. The integration leverages the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard and Nvidia DLSS technology to minimise latency and enhance image quality, ensuring a responsive and immersive VR gaming experience. Also worth noting is that Bluetooth controllers are supported.

The GeForce Now app will be available for download from the Pico Store later this month, coinciding with the latest GeForce Now update. This update will allow users to stream games at up to 1440p resolution, delivering a more immersive experience when using the app with VR and MR headsets.

Pico users can choose from various GeForce Now subscription plans, including day passes, monthly subscriptions, and 6-month memberships. The “Performance” membership offers priority access to GeForce RTX servers with DLSS and ray tracing enabled for £9.99 monthly. The “Ultimate” membership, which provides access to GeForce RTX 4080-powered servers, costs £19.99 per month.
