be quiet! adds TKL option to its gaming keyboard line-up

be quiet! is expanding its gaming peripheral lineup with the Light Mount TKL, a compact tenkeyless mechanical keyboard aimed at users who prefer a smaller layout, without a numpad eating up your desk space. 

The Light Mount TKL adopts an 80% layout, freeing up desk space by chopping off the dedicated numpad. It uses the company’s Silent V2 switches in linear orange or tactile black variants, along with three layers of sound dampening material to reduce noise and vibrations. The keyboard includes PBT double‑shot keycaps, hot‑swap support for 5‑pin MX‑style switches, a brushed aluminium top plate, and a detachable braided USB‑C cable. As you would expect, a detachable palm rest is also included.

For control and customisation, the Light Mount TKL offers an aluminium media wheel, three macro or multimedia keys, per‑key ARGB lighting and illuminated side bars. Like other gaming keyboards, this one has its own version of ‘Snap Tap, called ‘Quick Tap', which immediately prioritises the most recent directional input to help players with strafing in shooter games.

As with be quiet!'s other peripherals, the Light Mount TKL also integrates with the IO Center software for easy access to configuration settings, which can then be stored on the keyboards on-board memory, so your settings can travel with you between PCs.

The Light Mount TKL launches on the 25th of August in Silent Orange and Silent Black variants across DE ISO, FR ISO, UK ISO and US ANSI layouts, priced at £119.90. There is also a new XL version of their mousepad launching later this month, priced at £24.90.
