Black Desert MMO heading to the US and EU

Black Desert, the hugely popular Korean MMO is finally making its way over to the west. Over in the US and EU, the game will be known as Black Desert Online, with closed alpha testing set to begin pretty soon. There is also a new trailer for the game to introduce it to new players.

Judging from the trailer, which you can see below, it looks a little bit like ArcheAge, which was built using the CryEngine.

When Black Desert does arrive, it won't be free to play as it is in Korea. It will instead be buy to play with no subscription, like ESO or Guild Wars 2. This will hopefully discourage any hackers, which have been rampant in ArcheAge ever since it made its way to the west last year.

KitGuru Says: Black Desert seems intriguing enough, particularly the parkour system. Though I must admit, I'm not much of an MMO player, especially these days.
