The Epic Games Store has had a number of features waiting on its roadmap since 2019. One of the most requested features, aside from a shopping cart, is achievements and now this week, the latter is finally rolling out.
The Epic Games Store launcher is now getting achievement support, with certain games already implementing them. This isn’t the final version of the feature though, so expect more updates to come:
Certain games on the Epic Games Store may begin to display achievements as you unlock them.
This is an early version of the feature and you can expect to see changes & adjustments.
We'll have more info to share on achievements in the future, so stay tuned! pic.twitter.com/80dnoLYegV

Achievements on EGS will pop up as you unlock them. So far, ARK: Survival Evolved is the only one to have them but more should come in the days and weeks to come. After all, most games on the Epic Games Store already have achievements on other platforms, making it a case of just carrying them over.
The next features coming to the Epic Games Store include a trending section in the store, mod support for games, add-on/DLC discovery and more.

KitGuru Says: The Epic Games Store has been improving over time and hopefully by the end of this year, it’ll be closer to feature parity with the likes of Steam.
