Ghost of Tsushima’s long-awaited PC release is finally confirmed

It's official, Ghost of Tsushima is finally coming to PC, just as leaks earlier this week had claimed. Today, Sony has officially announced Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut for PC, complete with a new trailer. The port has been in development for over a year at Nixxes, a PC port specialist company that Sony acquired in recent years to produce games just like this.

The Director's Cut edition of the game includes the Iki Island expansion, which continues Jin's story beyond the events of the base game. You'll also have access to the multiplayer Legends mode if you want some co-op action.

The PC version will be polished, with a variety of graphics settings, customisable keyboard and mouse controls, and unlocked frame rates for even smoother gameplay than previously possible on console. You'll also get support for triple-monitor resolutions, as well as 21:9 and 32:9 ultrawide displays. Some PC-specific features include support for Nvidia DLSS 3 & DLAA, AMD's FSR 3, and Intel's XeSS upscaling technologies.

Pre-ordering the game on Steam or the Epic Games Store will net you some early in-game unlocks, including the New Game+ horse, and two outfits for Jin. The game will officially launch on the 16th of May.

KitGuru Says: I can't wait to dive into Ghost of Tsushima once again, particularly as I never played through the DLC. Will any of you be picking this up in May?
