Nvidia reveals new RTX Remix projects, new GeForce game bundle and more at Gamescom

Nvidia has outlined a wide range of RTX and GeForce platform updates at Gamescom this week, covering DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, RTX Remix progress, new path‑traced projects, Nvidia ACE, updates to the Nvidia App, RTX Spark developments and several additions to GeForce Now.

DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction is the biggest feature update this week, and we've already had a chance to test it out in early access. You can read our full article on that, and watch the video going over various comparisons and performance, HERE.

RTX Remix was another big focus of Nvidia's Gamescom update this week. RTX Remix now supports over 240 games, with 100 added this year alone. The RTX Remix GitHub repository now has around 300 active contributors, with over 3.8 million mods being downloaded for major titles, from classics like Doom, to more recent games like Fallout 4.

Nvidia also announced Painkiller RTX, developed by members of the original Painkiller team. Fifteen levels have been remastered with full path‑traced lighting, DLSS 4.5, advanced particle effects, path‑traced volumetrics, RTX Neural Radiance Cache and RTX IO, with RTX IO reducing the game’s file size by roughly 30GB. Another major project is The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind RTX, a Remix‑powered overhaul covering content up to the Mages Guild. While not a full game remaster, it serves as a substantial proof of concept, adding path‑traced lighting, updated materials and RTX Volumetrics. Modders aim to eventually remaster the entire game.

Nvidia’s on‑device AI system, ACE, is also expanding. Its first playable example appeared in PUBG Ally earlier this year, introducing an AI‑controlled companion responsive to voice commands. Next, ACE will be integrated into Aniimo, letting players speak naturally with their creature companion and coordinate in‑game actions.

The Nvidia App is receiving several updates this month, including a DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction override, per‑app Resizable BAR control and upcoming G‑Sync Pulsar configuration options. Control Resonant will also be the next game bundled with GeForce RTX GPUs starting from the RTX 5070 and up, and buyers of a GeForce Now Ultimate 12‑month membership will receive a copy.

Nvidia outlined progress on RTX Spark, its ARM‑based PC platform. EA’s Javelin anticheat will support Spark systems, enabling games like Apex Legends to run without issues and addressing anticheat limitations seen on SteamOS. Nvidia is working with publishers to expand support, with titles such as The Finals and Arc Raiders set to be available on RTX Spark PCs.

GeForce Now is adding several day‑one releases, including Blood of the Dawnwalker, Metro 2039, Control Resonant, Gears of War E‑Day and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. GOG account linking will soon be supported, enabling titles like Baldur’s Gate 3 to run through the service. Steam Controller support is on the way, alongside a native SteamOS GeForce Now app. Firefox now supports GeForce Now streaming natively, and the service is also coming to Amazon Fire TV devices.

KitGuru says: Nvidia’s Gamescom announcements cover DLSS, RTX Remix, cloud gaming and RTX Spark. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a hint of any move to bring down consumer GPU prices, which have continued to climb throughout 2026.
