Shadow Warrior 2 gets a PC release date and new trailer

Shadow Warrior 2 is arriving sooner than you might think as a brand new trailer for the game dropped today, revealing a 13th of October release date. Since PC has been the lead platform for this release, console gamers will need to wait until early next year to get in on the action.

For those who don't know, Shadow Warrior first appeared back in the 90's. However, in 2013, the franchise was rebooted and went on to become arguably one of the best games of that year. Now with the sequel, everything is getting dialled up to 11, with more weapons, more enemies, a new story line and the addition of four-player co-op.

Shadow Warrior 2 is set to be much bigger than the first game, with tons of new weapons, armours, upgrades and more. If you happen to be willing to pre-order, then doing so will grant you a katana chainsaw in-game, which you can see in the trailer above.

KitGuru Says: I was a huge fan of 2013's Shadow Warrior and so far, Shadow Warrior 2 seems to be hitting all of the right notes for me. Now I just need to convince a few friends to buy it so we can co-op it! Are any of you guys looking forward to the Shadow Warrior sequel?
