The Outer Worlds is just under 10GB on Nintendo Switch

The Outer Worlds is going to be back in the news over the next couple of months, as the Nintendo Switch version nears release. The game will be heading to Nintendo's platform in June and now, we know how much storage space you will need to free up to play it.

The Outer Worlds comes to the Nintendo Switch on the 5th of June, hopefully just ahead of Obsidian's first DLC announcement. Those picking up the game digitally can expect a 9.8GB download, as per the Switch eShop listing.

Those buying the physical edition unfortunately won't escape the need to download files, as the game's day-one patch has to be installed, measuring in at 6GB.

The patch for the physical edition of the game provides additional textures, performance optimisations and fixes a number of known gameplay issues.

KitGuru Says: I'll be looking forward to seeing this running on Switch, although I might not jump back in for another full playthrough. Did any of you play The Outer Worlds already? Are you waiting for the Switch version?
