Microsoft is preparing a Windows 10 event for the 21st of January, where it will likely show off the most recent advancements to the OS and give us a peek at the upcoming consumer preview, which is rumoured to have new features, such as Cortana, the Windows Phone digital assistant.

Not only that but Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft's Xbox division has teased his future plans for Windows gaming on Twitter, saying: “I'll be focusing more on what we are doing on Win10 in January, it's time for us to talk about gaming on Windows.”
