Apple to hold 3 day party in Hong Kong for flagship store

According to MicGadget, Apple are planning an exciting 3 day party for the Hong Kong flagship store opening. They report that this store will be their most expensive to date, and it totals the 100th ‘overseas' opening.

They say that Apple are planning a 3 day opening ‘party'. They report that they have no details on exactly what is happening, but they seem to have their ear to the ground and have even hinted that Steve Jobs might make an appearance.

The initial reports from 9to5mac claimed that the store would be opening on the 24th of September, but MicGadget claim that staff are being extensively trained which could hold back the opening date.

They say “First, the Apple mentors that came to Hong Kong for the training of the new store, they have gone home as of the 14th of August. This means that they now go through Apple “Core” training and do specialized training if they are technical support or management. We previously covered the “Market Core” book here in this story. We also have gotten our hands on something else from the Hong Kong training, but we will update that in another story.”
