Apple start taking international iPad preorders

Yesterday Apple have updated their online stores and are accepting preorders for both 3G and Wi-Fi models of the popular iPad – this is actually a day earlier than the announced launch date.

These  pages went online a little early for the May 28th launch and they are being handled through Apple online stores in the UK, Germany, Australia, Spain, Switzerland, France and Italy. The iPad will launch in Japan and Canada on May 28th but these sites are not yet accepting orders. The iPad is limited – two per customer so Apple can ‘spread the love’.
