HTC Deluxe DLX set to bring 1080p smartphones to the global market

Following in the footsteps of Japan’s HTC J Butterfly and Verizon’s Droid DNA, what is essentially the same smartphone is set to be known as HTC Deluxe DLX in European and other international markets.

Before the flagship Android smartphone from HTC is officially announced GSMArena have gotten their hands on some press shots. Unsurprisingly, the device looks identical to the localised versions.

It will come in black, white and interestingly brown colour schemes. We are also confident in saying it will have the same specifications as the J Butterfly. This means there’s Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 5 inch Full HD Super LCD3 display, a 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2 GB of RAM.

Rumours currently point to more information being unveiled about the Deluxe DLX on December 6. If that falls through the CES or MWC are logical guesses to when this beast from HTC is launched.

KitGuru says: It’s only a matter of time before the HTC Deluxe hits the international market.
