There’s nothing that PC gamer like better than to refer to themselves as Gaming Royalty. KitGuru wonders if that’s the mindset that Chillblast was in when they created the Samurai Gaming Notebook. Born around Japan’s Heian period, Samurai were “those who serve in close attendance to the nobility”. Whatever the logic, the specifications, on paper, seem impressive – so we invited Ben Miles into the KitGuru studio to give us a once-over on this dedicated system.
Less than 20mm thick and weighing under 2Kg, the Chillblast Samurai boasts a 3GB GTX970 graphics card, 256GB M.2 SSD Boot Drive and Core i7 6700HQ processor. Just looking at those specs on paper give you a pretty good idea of how this will perform, but what about the look and feel of this £1,499 gaming laptop?

KitGuru says: While you still pay a price premium for portability, there’s no doubt that the amount of firepower available to mobile gamers these days is significant.
