Gigabyte updates Aero and Aorus laptops with the new Intel 11th Gen Core processors

Following Intel's announcement of the new Tiger Lake-H processors, Gigabyte has come out to show its updated Aero and Aorus laptop models featuring these new processors, offering up to 25% more performance than its predecessors. 

Available with three new CPU options, users mays choose between the new Intel Core i7-11800H, the Core i9-11900H, or the Core i9-11980H. Besides the new processors, the Gigabyte Aero and Aorus laptops are also equipped with RTX 30 series mobile GPUs (up to the RTX 3080) featuring TDPs as high as 165W, allowing it to squeeze out every bit of performance.

The displays are also a key selling point of these laptops. The Aero laptops are equipped with 15-inch 4K OLED panels with DisplayHDR True Black certification or a 17-inch 4K HDR IPS panel. Both panels are factory-calibrated. As for the Aorus gaming laptops, there are two display options, a 15-inch FullHD IPS 360Hz panel, or a 17-inch 300Hz display.

Both laptop models come with a wide set of connectivity features and ports to fulfil the needs of the most demanding users, featuring Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and 2.5Gbps LAN connectivity support. Moreover, it also feature 3x USB-A 3.2 ports, a Thunderbolt 4 (Type-C) port, an HDMI 2.1 port, a mini DP 1.4, a 3.5mm audio-in, a 3.5mm audio-out, and an SD card reader (optional).
