“A lot more” Xbox games are coming to PS5 and Switch 2 in 2025, claims insider

Over the past couple years, we’ve seen Microsoft bring over a select number of first-party Xbox titles to both PlayStation and the Nintendo Switch. Despite Indiana Jones and the Great Circle; DOOM The Dark Ages and Forza Horizon 5 all slated for a PS5 launch this year, one insider has claimed that there are “a lot more” titles planned to be ported in 2025 alone.

Following the official announcement that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be coming to PlayStation 5 on the 17th of April, known insider Tom Warren revealed (via TheVerge) that many more ex-Xbox exclusives can be expected over the course of 2025, writing:

“Microsoft first started launching previous Xbox-exclusive titles like Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, and Grounded on PS5 last year, and 2025 will include a lot more titles appearing on both PS5 and Nintendo's Switch 2.”

Xbox PS5

As mentioned, 3 titles are already confirmed to be coming to PS5, with many more having been rumoured – including the likes of Starfield; Halo and Gears of War.

Similarly, while Microsoft has yet to officially announce any titles for Switch 2 (likely due to rules put in place by Nintendo), a number of Xbox games have also been rumoured for the Switch’s successor, including the aforementioned DOOM: The Dark Ages; Halo and Starfield.

While we will likely hear from Xbox’s Switch plans during the upcoming Nintendo Direct next month, it will be interesting to see what other Xbox titles are planned for PS5 this year.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
