The beta originally launched after EA's E3 conference last week, there were only a limited number of PS4 spaces but the PC beta was pretty easy to get in to. Xbox owners will get access to the beta in the near future too, although it will be different to what PS4 and PC users are playing right now.

KitGuru Says: I got in to the beta last week but I haven't tried it just yet. I'll probably give it a go now that my friends can play too. Have any of you guys tried the Hardline beta? What did you think?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.

  1. Definitely not worth the £50 it will most likely sell for. But a nice spin off. Bad Company 3 would have been preferable IMO.

  2. Got on the closed beta a few days ago and had a little play the other night, the game was quite good but the controls were awful, expecially when trying to drive the motorbike, when I tried it there was no support for the xbox360 controller (or if there was it didnt work for me!)
