MSI introduces new rapid gaming displays

MSI is expanding its gaming monitor portfolio with two new additions. The new MSI MAG 345CQR is a curved ultrawide but if you prefer a more traditional flat screen, then the new MSI G272QPF E2 should do the trick.

The MSI MAG 345CQR features a 34-inch curved VA display with a 3440 x 1440 resolution and 1000R curvature. It has an average brightness of 300 nits and a static contrast ratio of 3000:1. The 8-bit+FRC display supports 120% of the sRGB, 95% of the DCI-P3, and 90% of the Adobe RGB colour spaces. It has a refresh rate of up to 180Hz, so you'll get a small boost in smoothness and visual clarity over the many 144Hz and 165Hz options on the market.

The monitor has two HDMI 2.0 connections, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone jack. Additionally, it has a stand with height adjustment, swivel, and tilt capabilities. The MSI MAG 345CQR also comes with various gaming features such as Smart Crosshair, Optix Scope, AI Vision, and Console mode with VRR and CEC compatibility, making it a great option for gamers and creative professionals.

The new MSI G272QPF E2 replaces the MSI G272QPF, boasting a higher refresh rate of 180Hz. It features a 27-inch Rapid IPS display with a QHD resolution, an average brightness of 300 nits, and a static contrast ratio of 1200:1. The display has an 8-bit+FRC colour bit depth and covers 125% of sRGB, 94% of DCI-P3, and 90% of the Adobe RGB colour gamut.

The monitor has two HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4 input, and a headphone connector. Its stand offers comprehensive ergonomics, with a bi-directional pivot, swivel, tilt, and height adjustment. The MSI G272QPF E2 has been certified by TUV Rheinland for low-blue light and flicker-free operation. It comes with Adaptive-Sync technology, Gaming Mode, and Night Vision features, making it suitable for gamers and professionals who spend long hours in front of the screen.
