New Astro Bot level unveiled during PlayStation tournament

Since its release back in September of last year, Team Asobi have kept Astro Bot fresh with new levels, speed run challenges and more. In a surprising move, a brand new level was unveiled during a live PlayStation Tournaments event.

Sony recently hosted a live PlayStation Tournament event in London, featuring a range of games across various eSports titles. Interestingly, amongst the likes of Tekken 8 and Fortnite, Astro Bot featured as one part of the line-up.

While perhaps not too unusual given the fact that Team Asobi previously released speedrun levels for Astro Bot, the final showdown during the tournament took place on a brand new level which was being debuted for the first time at the event.

Team Asobi have yet to officially comment on the new level, however it is highly unlikely that a brand new stage was created solely for two players to experience at a single event, and so we will most probably hear about an update coming to Astro Bot sooner rather than later.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
