AOC’s latest monitor offers a 175Hz ultrawide QD-OLED panel for £670

AGON by AOC is introducing the new AGON PRO AG346UCD. This impressive 34-inch curved gaming monitor is designed specifically for gamers, boasting a curved QD-OLED panel that offers the deepest of blacks, low response times, and a pretty good refresh rate.

The AGON PRO AG346UCD fits seamlessly into the elite AGON PRO lineup, featuring a UWQHD resolution (3440×1440) and a refresh rate of 175Hz. This monitor suits any type of game, whether you want to immerse in an RPG or a sim racing or low response times (0.03ms GtG) for fast-paced action titles.

With an 1800R curve, the AGON PRO AG346UCD provides an ultra-wide 21:9 aspect ratio that envelops your peripheral vision to deliver a panoramic experience. Certified with DisplayHDR True Black 400 and a 10-bit colour depth, this monitor can display over 1.07 billion colours. Thanks to the QD-OLED technology, expect near-infinite contrast ratios, deep blacks, and vivid colours that cater to gamers and content creators.

The monitor also supports VESA Adaptive-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to reduce screen tearing and stuttering, even in HDR mode. Moreover, users can customise the monitor settings at AOC's G-Menu software, including gaming-specific features like Game Colour saturation adjustments, Shadow Control for enhanced black levels, and Dial Point for a customisable crosshair overlay.

The stand offers 130 mm of height adjustment, as well as tilt and swivel options. Connectivity is vast, featuring two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub with three USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The built-in 8-W speakers can also be useful if you don't have a speaker set. AGON by AOC offers customers who buy this monitor a three-year warranty covering OLED burn-in. Like many other monitors and TVs with OLED and QD-OLED technology, it has built-in OLED maintenance features to increase product longevity. The monitor is now available for £669.90.

KitGuru says: A few monitors have similar specs but none of them beat the AGON PRO on price, which will make it an attractive option for anyone looking to make the upgrade to OLED.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
