Nvidia App may exit beta when RTX 50 series launches

Nvidia App has been available for a while, but contrary to what some users might think, it is still in beta. Version 1.0 is expected to be officially launched alongside the upcoming GeForce RTX 50 series. 

The tech giant has faced its fair share of criticism over its ageing Control Panel and the GeForce Experience software, with the latter requiring users to create an Nvidia account. In response to AMD and Intel equivalent solutions, whose software does not require login credentials, Nvidia has developed its self-titled App.

The Nvidia App aims to combine the best aspects of GeForce Experience and the Control Panel. Current functionalities include essential features such as display settings, game optimisation, and driver management. However, as it stands, GeForce Experience continues to serve as the official software for GeForce RTX cards, with the Control Panel bundled with NVidia drivers.

Prominent leaker Kopite7kimi, in response to VideoCardz, suggests that version 1.0 of the App will debut alongside the RTX 50 series, which has lately been pointed to come out in early 2025. This, however, doesn't match Nvidia's latest official status on the release of the App's official launch, as the company stated that it plans the software to exit beta by the end of the year.
