Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is free on the Epic Games Store

Each week, all those with an Epic Games Store account are privy to a number of titles as part of Epic’s free game program. Available right now, EGS users can get their hands on the FPS stealth title ‘Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts’ alongside the latest entry in the Football Manager series.

Available to add to your library from now (and will remain so until the 12th of September at 4PM UK time), all those with an Epic Games Store account can get their hands on:

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts is one of the latest entries in the long running stealth FPS series. Released back in 2019, Contracts is self-described as “the most realistic modern warfare sniping game available,” featuring “an immersive single-player campaign across large, open-ended maps” with “tactical thinking, stealth approach and precision in execution.”

The game received somewhat mixed reviews upon its initial launch,  though most players and critics agree that the main mechanic of Contracts – its sniping – is as solid as ever. For the price of ‘free’ the game is certainly worth adding to your library and giving a go.

As always, Epic have now revealed next week’s free titles – those being the soon-to-be-released Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland as well as SUPER CRAZY RHYTHM CASTLE.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
