Castlevania x Dead by Daylight officially announced

Dead by Daylight has easily become one of the games to feature the greatest number of crossovers – especially when it comes to implementing actual unique characters. Following the likes of Lara Croft, Freddy Krueger and even Nicolas Cage, Dead by Daylight is set to crossover with the classic video game series Castlevania.

Releasing an atmospheric trailer, the team at Behaviour Interactive announced that “Dead by Daylight: Castlevania brings Dracula and Trevor Belmont into The Fog’s dark embrace.”

Arriving on the 27th of August, the crossover is just one of many upcoming collabs, with the team having already announced another crossover with the video game horror hall-of-famer Five Nights at Freddy’s – set to arrive at some point during Summer 2025.

With there having not been a new Castlevania game in over a decade, it is encouraging at the very least to see Konami willing to share the IP with various other games and franchises.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
