STALKER 2 developer deep-dive to go live next week

Initially announced for release all the way back in 2022, GSC Game World encountered a great deal of issues in trying to bring STALKER 2 past the finish line – thanks in no part to the ongoing war in the studio’s home country of Ukraine. Finally, after many delays, STALKER 2 is set to launch this November – with a 30-minute deep dive going live next week.

Making the announcement on Twitter, the official STALKER page teased their upcoming showcase, saying “Did you hear the noise? Quickly, check the detector. Developer Deep Dive is very close.”

They continued, “Behind-the-scene materials, lots of footage, and a full quest walkthrough. It is our biggest update on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl so far, with over 30 mins of all-new information. Developer Deep Dive will go live at 12.08.2024 5pm UK time/ 6pm EU/ 9am West Coast/ 12pm East Coast.”

As mentioned, STALKER 2 has overcome a great deal of development issues, and so it is exciting to finally be getting a full look at the upcoming – and long awaited – sequel to the STALKER 1 trilogy.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
