It has been over a year since Ubisoft last showed us its upcoming Avatar game and we've heard very little since. Back in May during an earnings call, Ubisoft did claim that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is on track to release in the current fiscal year, and now according to new reports, it is targeting a November launch date.
Ubisoft has had a very quiet 2022 so far, but it seems that the publisher will have three games coming this holiday season. We already know to expect Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and Skull & Bones in October and early November. Now, according to industry reporter, Tom Henderson, Ubisoft is currently planning to release Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on the 18th of November.
This title has been in development for five years already at Ubisoft Massive, the same studio behind The Division. With a new Avatar film coming out this December, the November release date makes a lot of sense, as the game will want to capitalise on any excitement for the film.
Ubisoft did not appear at E3 and has not announced plans for its own Ubisoft Forward stream this summer. However, the company will be re-revealing Skull & Bones next week and if Avatar is really going to meet its November release date, perhaps a new trailer could be shown at the Gamescom opening ceremony.

KitGuru Says: Given that we still haven't seen any gameplay, I have my doubts that this game will make it out this year. Ubisoft doesn't have a lot of time left to get the marketing machine moving if the release date is accurate.
