Xbox may tease its rumoured handheld this weekend

Back in March, we began hearing rumours that Microsoft may be working on their own Xbox handheld in the vein of the Steam Deck or ROG Ally. Microsoft themselves have since teased the idea as a possibility – while still keeping things vague. That said, according to one insider, we may get our first look at the handheld during the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase.

As reported by YouTuber/insider ‘eXtas1s’ (and translated by ResetEra user ‘Angie’), “According to what I've been told, it looks like we're going to get a small teaser of the Xbox Portable at the next Xbox Showcase.”

Xbox isn’t one to shy away from early announcements, with the Xbox Series X being revealed almost a year ahead of time.

Additionally, with the discourse surrounding Xbox in recent weeks/months being less-than-stellar, the console manufacturer may be looking to revive excitement in the Xbox brand. We won’t have to wait long in order to find out.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
