Antec is preparing to get into the gaming handheld market with the help of AyaNeo. The Antec Core HS is a tweaked version of the AyaNeo Slide, which features a 6-inch sliding screen, and integrated gamepad controls.
According to LTN (via Tom's Hardware), the Core HS features a 6-inch sliding screen with a 1080p resolution and a complete physical keyboard. The screen tilts at a 30-degree angle and slides upward to reveal the integrated keyboard. This device is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U CPU equipped with an 8 ‘Zen 4' cores, 12 RDNA3 CUs, and a maximum TDP of 28 watts.

Assuming it will have the same specs as the AyaNeo Slide, you should expect Antec's upcoming console to feature up to 64GB of LPDDR5X memory and 4TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.
Antec aims to release the Core HS in Europe and the US between June and July 2024, offering consumers an alternative handheld to the ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go, and MSI Claw. With the original AyaNeo Slide starting at $699 during its early crowdfunding phase and $899 at retail, the Core HS is expected to be priced somewhere in between.
