Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo update brings more content ahead of launch

The Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo has been available for a little while now on PS5 but today, Square Enix has released an update, expanding the amount of the game players can explore early.

The new updated version of the demo is now available, which allows players to explore more of the map, including a large open area near Junon. Interestingly, this part of the demo will include content ‘unique to the demo'.

As previously announced, all progress made in the demo will carry over to the full game when it launches on the 29th of February, so you can get started on your journey early. The demo also includes improvements to the game's performance mode.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will be exclusive to the PS5 console for an undisclosed amount of time. Like Final Fantasy 7 Remake, we should eventually see a PC release.

KitGuru Says: I finished both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Final Fantasy 16 last year and am really looking forward to jumping in again with Rebirth. For me though, I'll likely wait until the game comes out to really dive in. Have any of you downloaded the demo already? Will you be revisiting it with today's update?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
