Join us, AOC and MMD for a Pancake Day Special charity event!

Pancake Day is fast approaching and TPV Cares, AOC, and MMD have teamed up to hold a special charity event to celebrate the day and help raise some funds. Gamers will get the chance to win a range of great prizes, and there's some great activities lined up, including a Mario kart tournament and, as is tradition, some pancake-making.

Intending to raise awareness (and cash) by using the power of video games to help physically challenged gamers, ill children, and young people in hospitals, this charity event is a chance to show everyone that the gaming community can make a real change. All proceeds raised will be split equally between The RockinR, and SpecialEffect, so it's a great way to show support for the work being done by these two charities.

Platform Shoreditch in London will host the event in the evening of February 13th, 6-10pm. Here, you can join in with a Mario Kart gaming tournament, participate in raffles, and even whip up some pancakes. If you can't join in person, KitGuru will be part of a special online program where a donation of just £1 (or more!) could win you a gaming monitor! If you're interested in attending, please join HERE.

In addition, there will be a Just Giving campaign as part of this event to raise £5,000. Any donations are greatly appreciated, and you can also help by sharing this event with everyone you know. Whether you share it via social media, your Discord server, or directly to friends, every bit is helpful.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
