THQ Nordic has 20 unannounced games in development

THQ Nordic recently hosted its own showcase in which the publisher announced and showed off a number of their projects, including TMNT: The Last Ronin and South Park: Snow Day. Interestingly, THQ revealed that they currently have 20 more projects in development – all of which have yet to be announced.

During THQ Nordic’s 2023 Digital Showcase, the publisher announced and showed off a dozen games currently in development, including the likes of Alone in the Dark; TMNT: The Last Ronin; South Park: Snow Day and Wreckreation.

Interestingly, upon the conclusion of the event, THQ revealed that these titles are but a snippet of what the publisher has in store, saying:

“As of today, THQ Nordic (Handygames not included) has 37 games in development, thereof 20 still unannounced after this showcase. Thank you for watching!”

THQ Nordic is a massive company, residing under the Embracer Group umbrella, and on its own has 20 different subsidiaries – making the announcement of 37 games somewhat less shocking.

Still, with more than 3 dozen games currently in the works, it will be interesting to see how the perception of the publisher changes as and when they each come out.
