Red Dead Redemption, Katamari and more are leaving PlayStation Plus next month

Each month Sony updates its PlayStation Plus line-up with a selection of new or returning titles. Unfortunately, the console maker also removes games on a monthly basis. With May’s PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium offerings now available to play, Sony has detailed its list of 5 titles in total which are set to depart from the service next month.

In going to the last chance to play section on the PlayStation 5’s PS Plus tab, users can find a list of 5 titles in total which are set to leave the service next month. Though no exact date is given, subscribers can expect the following to be removed around the middle of June:

  • We Love Katamari REROLL [PS5 / PS4]
  • The Incredibles [PS4]
  • Lawn Mowing Simulator [PS5 / PS4]
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. the World [PS4]
  • Red Dead Redemption [PS5 / PS4]

Plus PlayStation

The most notable title leaving is of course Red Dead Redemption, with the PS4/5 remaster only joining the service late last year. That said, pretty much all of Rockstar’s games have operated in a similar manner – joining PlayStation Plus for roughly 6 months before being removed.

Such is the case with the studio’s 2018 sequel/prequel Red Dead Redemption 2, which recently joined PS Plus for the 3rd time since 2024.

Regardless, you should have enough time to complete all of the listed titles before they are removed in roughly 3 weeks’ time, with the likes of Katamari and Scott Pilgrim being short-yet-sweet experiences.

The full list of titles which were recently added to PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium can be found HERE.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
