Nacon launches Revolution 5 Unlimited controller with built-in display

Nacon has announced the Revolution 5 Unlimited (R5U), an officially licensed asymmetric controller for PS5, PC, and Android Smart TVs. This gamepad features a built-in control screen, TMR magnetic joysticks, and an included charging dock.

At one point in time, the original Steam Controller was going to have an integrated display, but Valve ultimately dropped the idea. Nacon's Revolution 5 Unlimited delivers though, with the display allowing users to adjust audio mixing, stick sensitivity, shortcuts and other settings on the fly. TMR joysticks are also in place for more precise tracking and lower power consumption.

Hardware features include micro-switch action buttons alongside Trigger Blockers to shorten travel time for quicker aiming. Advanced Shooter Pro Mode removes joystick dead zones for increased responsiveness. Nacon packages the controller with an accessory bundle, a storage case, and a dedicated charging dock.

It is one of the more expensive gamepads on the market, however, coming in at around $200.
