Diablo 4 is heading to Steam this month

Earlier this year, Blizzard surprisingly chose to expand its potential customer base with plans to bring games over to Steam for the first time. We've already seen Overwatch 2 make the transition to Valve's PC gaming platform and now, Diablo 4 is next on the list.

Diablo 4 is also heading to Steam, with the game set to launch over there on the 17th of October, the same day that the game's new season goes live.

The announcement was made last night as part of a developer live stream, which also went over some of the planned changes coming to the game with Season 2 this month. So far, over 10 million players have jumped into Diablo 4 across all available platforms, with the move to Steam, that number should climb higher.

Blizzard will want to keep its fingers crossed that the transition to Steam goes better for Diablo 4, as Overwatch 2 was swiftly planned via Steam User Reviews once the game became available.

Insider claims Call of Duty could see a massive shake-up including no more annual releases

While this has worked in the past, Black Ops 7 seems to have been a breaking point for some. According to known insiders, Microsoft is now considering a major shake-up, including a standalone Zombies game.
