Here’s exactly when you can start playing Starfield

If you've pre-ordered Starfield's standard edition, then you'll be waiting until September 6th to get your hands on Starfield. However, those with the Premium Edition can get access later this week. For those looking to dive in the moment the game becomes available, Bethesda has shared digital unlock times.

There are two ways to get early access to Starfield. The first is simply buying the Premium Edition of the game, which will get you the opportunity to play a full week early, as well as access to future DLCs. There is a cheaper option available to Game Pass subscribers though. Game Pass subs can pay £34.99 for a Premium Edition upgrade, which will get you all the benefits of the Premium Edition when installing the Game Pass version.

Those with the standard edition will get access to Starfield starting on September 6th at 1AM BST in the UK, or 5PM PT or 8PM ET on September 5th in the US. The Premium version unlocks at 1AM BST on September 1st in the UK, or 5PM PT or 8PM ET on August 1st in the US.

Those with a digital pre-order or a Game Pass subscription can pre-load Starfield now ahead of time.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
