PAYDAY 2, Quake 4 and more are free with Prime Gaming

Each month, those who are subscribed to Amazon Prime are privy to a number of free games as part of the company’s Prime Gaming initiative. For the month of August, subscribers can get their hands on a number of titles, including PAYDAY 2, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 and more.

Available to add to your library throughout the month, August’s line-up of free titles is as follows:

  • PAYDAY 2 + The Gage Mod Courier DLC (EGS) – August 3
  • Farming Simulator 19 (EGS) – August 10
  • Blade Assault – August 10
  • Quake 4 (GOG) – August 10
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 – August 17
  • Foretales – August 17
  • Driftland: The Magic Revival – August 17
  • In Sound Mind – August 24
  • Summertime Madness (Legacy Games key) – August 31

Historically, Prime Gaming’s free titles were all made available at the same time during the early days of each month. This was changed back in February however, with subscribers needing to come back time and time again to claim their ‘free’ games as they become available..

As with each month, you can also get your hands on dozens of in-game items across a bunch of titles including World of Warcraft; League of Legends; Honkai Star Rail; Diablo IV; Roblox; Overwatch 2; and Call of Duty Warzone – to name just some.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
