Payday 3 September release date leaks

It has been years since Payday 3 was first announced but the game is finally taking shape and is on track to release later this year. Ahead of an upcoming reveal, the game's planned release date has leaked, pinning the new heist game in for September.

Aggiornamenti Lumia, a Twitter account that has accurately leaked datamined release dates in the past, has found that Payday 3 is listed with a 21st of September release date in the backend of the Microsoft store.

Another rumour claims that the game is releasing on the 18th, so there could be an early access pre-order incentive for those who buy a Deluxe or Ultimate edition of the game. So far, nothing has been confirmed or announced officially by the developers.

We could hear more about Payday 3 officially before the end of the week, as the Xbox Games Showcase is coming up on Sunday and Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest stream is happening tomorrow.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
