The RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX launch today, prices start at £899 and £1049

Following on from reviews yesterday, today the RX 7900 XT and RX 7900 XTX graphics cards are officially launching and becoming available to the public. Here in the UK, it looks like RX 7900 XT pricing will start at £899 for AIB models, while the XTX version will sit around £1,049.

If you missed our reviews yesterday, then they are worth reading. Both of AMD's new GPUs impress in rasterisation performance, although ray-tracing performance does still lag behind Nvidia's competing graphics cards. We have tons of benchmarks, power draw analysis and value analysis to look at, so you can find our RX 7900 XT review HERE, and our RX 7900 XTX review, HERE.

From 2PM today, you'll be able to order one of these graphics cards. At Overclockers UK, the Sapphire RX 7900 XT comes in at £899, while the Sapphire RX 7900 XTX comes in at £1,049. These models are based on AMD's reference design, so expect models with custom cooler designs to be more expensive.

We've spoken with the folks at OCUK and while there is plenty of stock in for reference design cards like the two Sapphire models mentioned above, there is less stock of custom cards and it could take a while for those to come in. We should see improved stock and pricing in early 2023.
