PAYDAY 3 gets new teaser, gameplay reveal coming this summer

Back in January, Starbreeze began teasing PAYDAY 3, reaffirming the upcoming 2023 release date. Now, a new teaser has been posted, with the promise of a gameplay reveal later this summer.

The new teaser doesn't give much away, showing what appears to be a brief cinematic snippet, or perhaps a menu background, as well as the game's official logo:

The teaser itself isn't that exciting, but it does once again confirm plans to release the game this year. Gameplay will be shown later this summer, although we don't know what show it will end up appearing at. If Starbreeze has secured a marketing deal with a console maker like Sony or Microsoft, then it could end up in a State of Play or Xbox showcase. It could also end up being one of the bigger reveals for Geoff Kieghley's Summer Game Fest in June.

As pointed out by Insider Gaming, as part of its latest financial update, Starbreeze CEO, Tobias Sjogren, the game has already been wishlisted by over a million Steam users.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
