Vampire Survivors is getting a second expansion on April 13th

After a surprise win at the BAFTAs 2023, the team behind Vampire Survivors has announced that the game is getting a new expansion on April 13th. The new DLC will be called Tides of the Foscari, and like the previous one, it will bring a new level, new characters, new weapons, additional achievements to hunt and new music tracks.

The narrative in Tides of the Foscari will lead players to Western Europe's landscapes and forested areas. Inspired by fairy tales and folklore, the DLC's setting is in a place called The Big Forest, home to various magical monsters, spellcasters, demi-humans, spirits, angels, demons and other things you'll want to avoid. However, this is where the Foscari Academy is located, a school aimed at developing the warriors, scholars, and leaders of Vampire Survivors.

With the new expansion, players will get new playable content, including eight characters, 13 weapons, a stage, seven music tracks, and 20 achievements. Like with the previous DLC, if you have a 100% save, it will become obsolete, as new achievements will be added to the pool.

Studio poncle already had some sort of private test open at WASD in London this weekend, allowing players to get an early hands-on with the new DLC. Vampire survivors' Tides of the Foscari expansion will cost just $1.99.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
