SIFU’s Arena Expansion is officially live – alongside Steam and Xbox release

SIFU was one of 2022’s more unique titles, offering an in-depth arena-style fighting/brawling game with interesting mechanics such as its aging system. The game has gone on to sell more than 2 million copies, undoubtedly aided by Sloclap’s commitment to offering free updates. Speaking of, the much-anticipated Arenas Expansion has now gone live, representing SIFU’s biggest update yet.

SIFU’s Arenas Expansion is its 4th free major update, bringing with it a great deal of new content and replayability. The full patch notes can be found HERE, but the biggest changes and additions includes the aforementioned Arena mode which brings with it “Nine brand new closed maps with five challenges each, for a whopping forty-five challenges across the board!”

As with the previous patches, this update also adds new cheats and modifiers, meaning that “Alongside a slew of new ways to play the game, you can finally customize your moveset with new moves!”

Finally, the update also brings with it 3 new unlockable outfits as well new language options in the form of a Cantonese voiceover. Of course, the update comes with many smaller changes including new tutorials; added enemy variety (in appearance only); dozens of move balances; sound design changes; visual tweaks; bug fixes and so much more.

Alongside this massive update, SIFU is also finally available on Steam and Xbox consoles, meaning any and all players can now enjoy the satisfying combat of SIFU. The full patch notes can be found HERE.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
