Seasonic is giving free 12VHPWR cables to Prime and Focus PSU customers

Recently, Seasonic introduced its new ATX 3.0, PCIe 5.0-ready Vertex series power supplies, offering 12VHPWR out of the box to instantly prepare you for the next generation of graphics cards. You aren't out of luck if you have an older power supply unit though, as you can also get a 12VHPWR cable for older Prime and Focus series power supplies.

The Seasonic 12VHPWR connector cable set freely claimable to owners of compatible power supplies, like the Prime 1300 and Prime 1000, as well the Focus 1000W power supplies.

These cables will give you an all-in-one cable solution for hooking up next-gen GPUs, like the RTX 4090 or RTX 4080, to older ATX 2.0 power supplies. The GPUs themselves come with adapters for older power supplies, but a full cable solution is always preferable.

For maximum efficiency, this 12VHPWR connector cable set is made with 16 AWG wires and high-current terminal connectors. Starting on October 12, 2022, customers who own a Seasonic Prime 1300, Prime 1000 or Focus 1000 PSU will be able to claim the cable set for free, but quantities are limited, so you'll want to get a claim in before supplies run out.
