UK retailers begin listing RTX 4080 graphics cards starting at £1,289

We're still over two weeks away from the release of the RTX 4080 graphics cards, but some UK retailers have begun listing the new graphics card, giving us an early look at pricing. As things currently stand, it looks like the cheapest RTX 4080 graphics card will hit the market at £1,289.

VideoCardz found three Palit graphics cards on Laptop Direct. The cheapest model is the Palit GeForce RTX 4080 OmniBlack 16GB, available for order at £1,449.97. The next one in line is the Palit GeForce RTX 4080 GameRock 16GB for £1,499.97, followed by the OC variant for £1,529.97. Overall, that's quite a bit higher than the GPU's MSRP in the UK, set at £1,269.

However, we dug a little deeper to see if we could find any more listings, which we kind of did. Using PriceSpy, a well-known price comparison tool, we found that two RTX 4080 16GB were listed at unknown retailers in October. The first was the PNY GeForce RTX 4080 Verto Epic-X, which was listed at £1,289.99. The other one was the Galax/KFA2 GeForce RTX 4080 SG 1-Click OC, which was listed for £1,329.95. As you can see, unlike the Palit cards, these two are much closer to the MSRP.

Nvidia and respective AIB partners will launch their RTX 4080 graphics cards on the 16th of November.
