PowerWash Simulator to get free Tomb Raider DLC later this month.

Following delays into 2023, the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation versions of PowerWash Simulator were prematurely announced to be coming on the 30th of January. Now, we finally have official confirmation of the game’s (slightly different) release date alongside the surprise announcement of free Tomb Raider DLC.

Making the announcement via a press release, developer FuturLab and publisher Square Enix revealed that PowerWash Simulator will finally be coming to PlayStation 4|5 as well as the Nintendo Switch on the 31st of January – one day later than was previously believed.

That said, this launch will be bringing with it some serious treats, as the team announced that “a free TOMB RAIDER Special Pack is coming to all POWERWASH SIMULATOR players on January 31.”

Speaking on this collaboration, FuturLab’s Lead Designer – Dan Chequer – said “Creating the TOMB RAIDER Special Pack has been an honour and a fantastic experience. We can’t wait for players to get up close and personal with Croft Manor and explore its many secrets!”

It is always fun to see creative collaborations such as this, especially when it is given away for free. Following a viral 2022, it seems PowerWash Simulator is kicking off the year excellently.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
