10 more games are coming to Prime Gaming in December

Each month, those who are subscribed to Amazon Prime are privy to a number of free games as part of the company’s Prime Gaming initiative. While December’s free titles have long been available, in a surprise announcement, Amazon has revealed that 10 more games will be dropping before the end of the year.

Making the announcement on their blog, Chris Leggett of Prime Gaming said “We know, we know: we’ve already offered a bunch of fun games and in-game content to Prime Gaming members this month. But we’re feeling festive and want to treat our members even further. From December 27 through January 3, Prime Gaming will help members to hit pause and start playing this holiday season by offering multiple free PC games.”

The headlining title being included is undoubtedly Arkane Studios’ Dishonored 2, though all the games being added are worth a look:

  • Dishonored 2
  • Metal Slug
  • Metal Slug X
  • Metal Slug 3
  • Real Bout Fatal Fury
  • The King of Fighters 2003
  • The Last Blade
  • The Last Blade 2
  • Twinkle Star Sprites
  • SNK 40th Anniversary Collection

As mentioned, you can currently get your hands on early December’s offerings, which includes Quake; Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons; Spinch; Doors: Paradox and Banners of Ruin.

December was initially a relatively weak month for Prime Gaming, but the surprise inclusion of nearly a dozen extra titles more than makes up for it.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
