Nintendo releases new Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer

Back in early October Nintendo released the first trailer for the Super Mario Bros. Movie, with us getting a look at Chris Pratt as Mario and Jack Black as Bowser. The trailer kept things quite vague however, with a majority of the film’s star-studded cast not appearing in it. Finally however, we have now gotten a look at Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach and more thanks to a brand new trailer.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie’s second trailer was first shown off as part of a dedicated Nintendo Direct – where as stated by the company beforehand – no video game news was announced.

That said, we did get a much greater look at the various characters and voice actors who will be making an appearance in the film, including the likes of Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, and Seth Rogan as Donkey Kong.

The first trailer, released back in October, only showcased the voicing talents of Chris Pratt as Mario, Jack Black as Bowser and a bit of Keegan-Michael Key as Toad and so it is good to see how the remainder of the cast sounds.

This trailer also showed much more of the Mario world, with the characters paying homage to a number of classic and iconic franchise moments, including Mario Kart and Rainbow Road – to name just a few.

Of course, it is still too early to judge whether the casting choices were correct, or even whether the film itself will be good. That being said, I certainly plan to find out when the Super Mario Bros. Movie comes to cinemas in April 2023.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
