Nvidia to announce next-gen GPUs at GTC in September

We've been hearing about Nvidia's next-gen graphics architecture for months, but as usual, Nvidia has remained quiet and has not responded to any rumours or leaks. That is finally starting to change, with Nvidia announcing a new GTC keynote for September, during which we'll see what's next. 

Earlier this month, Nvidia warned that slowing gaming GPU sales were going to impact its earnings for Q2. Last night during the earnings call (via The Verge), CEO, Jensen Huang, explained that the company will “get through this over the next few months and go into next year with our new architecture”. He then added that he'll be telling us more about that “at GTC next month”.

Nvidia's September GTC keynote will be happening on the 20th of September at 4PM BST. During the keynote, we can expect to see Nvidia's new GPU architecture for GeForce graphics cards – rumoured to be codenamed ‘Lovelace'.

Huang also teased “new advances” for RTX as Nvidia looks to continue pushing the boundaries of 3D graphics in games. We'll hear more next month when the keynote goes live.
