Leaker believes we will see Silent Hill at Tokyo Game Show

For years now we have been hearing leaks and rumours surrounding the yet-to-be-announced Silent Hill franchise revival, though publisher Konami has remained entirely silent on the matter. That being said, according to one leaker, we will finally see Silent Hill officially announced at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show.

This rumour comes from well-known leaker DuskGolem, who has in the past discussed the elusive Silent Hill. According to DuskGolem, though admittedly speculation, they strongly believe that Tokyo Game Show will be the place and time when we might finally see the return of Silent Hill, saying:

“literally every company I know is involved with Silent Hill is present at the next Tokyo Game Show, for the first time all together at once, and it includes companies who it's their first ever TGS, just call me a tad suspicious.”

Speculation aside, DuskGolem later offered some updated information regarding the game’s developmental structure, stating that “Sony's still involved” in some capacity as well as the fact that:

“this is developed by more than one studio, it's a joint production. What I will say is that Masahiro Ito [Silent Hill 2’s director] is 100% working on this, I have some art from him from this project to prove it but I'll share that later as most of the art shows maybe a bit too much.”

Tokyo Game Show is taking place from the 15th to the 18th of September, meaning that if DuskGolem is correct, then we don't have too much longer to wait to finally find out what the future of Silent Hill is.
