Quake Champions for Xbox seemingly leaks ahead of QuakeCon announcement

Last year for QuakeCon, we got a ‘Revitalised Edition' of the classic shooter with some new content packed in. This year, one of QuakeCon's surprises appears to be the return of Quake Champions.

TrueAchievements has now been updated with achievement listings for Quake Champions on Xbox. This is the first indication that the game is coming to consoles after years of only being available on PC.

Bethesda hasn't really updated or pushed Quake Champions at all in recent years. The game launched in Early Access on PC back in 2017 and then went free to play a year later. Since then, there has been very little noise around the game.

If Quake Champions is coming to Xbox, then perhaps we'll start to see some new content for the game across console and PC.

KitGuru Says: It has been so long since we had any Quake Champions news, so this is quite the surprise. QuakeCon kicks off later today, so we should have official news soon.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
