Modders are already teaming up to work on a big Starfield bug patch

With every major Bethesda game comes a flurry of mods and typically, one of the most installed mods is an unofficial patch that fixes bugs that have persisted in Creation Engine games. There were heavily-downloaded unofficial patches for Skyrim, Fallout 4 and soon, Starfield will join that list.

Starfield is still some ways off from release, but the modding community is already organising behind the scenes and planning for its launch. As reported by PCGamesN, a group of modders have already begun planning the Starfield Community Patch, which will aim to address bugs in the game that Bethesda may have missed.

Some of the issues the patch will look to address include misplaced objects, script errors, game-breaking exploits and even spelling errors.

Bethesda is currently in the final stretch of development on Starfield. Originally the game was planned for November 2022, but ahead of E3 season, the game was pushed to the first half of 2023. While the delay was disappointing, Todd Howard did deliver an excellent gameplay presentation during the Xbox and Bethesda showcase.

KitGuru Says: Starfield is a huge game with multiple planets, custom space ships and more, which means there's a lot of room for things to go wrong. Historically, most Bethesda titles have released with bugs, but hopefully between official and unofficial patches, things will be ironed out quickly after launch.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
