Razer launches world’s first gaming laptop with a 240Hz OLED display

Razer is upping the ante for laptop displays this month. This week, the Razer Blade 15 has been updated, adding the world's first 240Hz QHD OLED laptop display. Aside from the impressive display, the laptop also comes equipped with an Intel Core i9-12900H and an Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti.

Unlike the other monitor options, the 240Hz OLED display offers high refresh rates for gaming and vivid colours and deep blacks for superior image quality. With a 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, this display is well suited for gaming, but it is also a good option for video and image editing, thanks to its 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.

To complement the Intel Core i9-12900H processor and the Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU, there's 32GB of DDR5 RAM and a 1 TB SSD, with an additional M.2 slot for more storage. There's also Thunderbolt 4, a USB-C port, a USB-A port, an HDMI port, and a full-sized SD card reader for connectivity.

The CNC-milled aluminium chassis has laser cut speaker grills on both sides of the keyboard. Expect to see it available starting Q4 2022, priced at $3,499.
